Harvard University – Koç University Visiting Scholar Program plays an important role in increasing collaborative efforts between the two universities.

All faculty members with research appointments (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) can apply for this program. The arrangements at Harvard University are coordinated in collaboration with the Center for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) of Harvard University.  Participants may visit other departments if they make the arrangements themselves.

Koç University support for outgoing scholars include:

• A stipend of USD 700 per week for a duration of 4 to 8-week.
• A round-trip economy class airfare.
• Outgoing participants are expected to make their own housing arrangements.

Faculty members interested in participating in this program to visit Harvard University should first discuss their possible visits with their deans and secure their support, then they should apply via apply.ku.edu.tr.
