The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) coordinates the academic activities of seven colleges, four graduate schools, and works in collaboration with Academic Planning and Development Directorate, English Language Center, Registrar's Office, Koç University Office of Learning and Teaching, Suna Kıraç Library, Koç University Press.
By integrating academics and students into its major processes, the Office of the VPAA develops and adopts all-embracing policies and procedures related to academic matters. The Office also holds responsibility for the administration of the meetings of the University Academic and Executive Councils, and its communication to faculty, students, and staff.
The Office of the VPAA works closely with deans and directors in defining and shaping strategic academic priorities for the university, and its coordination among departments and manages the appointment, advancement, and retention processes of our faculty members.
